Demi helps Shopify brands improve website conversion through analysis, experimentation, and guarded storefront changes. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit withdemi.com, join the waitlist, use app.withdemi.com, or connect a store or account to Demi.

Information we collect

We may collect contact information such as your name, work email, company, role, and messages you send us. If you create an account, we collect account credentials, authentication data, and product usage information.

If you connect a Shopify store, we may process store information needed to provide Demi, such as store domain, theme and page metadata, product and collection metadata, order and conversion signals, experiment configuration, runtime events, and performance metrics.

When you visit our website or app, we may collect device, browser, page, referral, and interaction data, including waitlist clicks and page views, to understand usage, secure the service, and improve Demi.

Google user data

If you choose to sign in with Google or authorize access to Google APIs, Demi requests only the scopes needed for the feature you choose to use. Depending on the feature, this may include basic Google account profile information and, where explicitly authorized, Google Workspace data such as Gmail or Calendar content or metadata.

Demi uses Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing functionality you authorize, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations. Demi does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI or machine learning models. Human access to Google user data is limited to support, security, or compliance cases where access is necessary.

You can revoke Google access through your Google Account permissions or by contacting us.

How we use information

We use information to operate Demi, manage accounts, provide waitlist and onboarding communications, analyze conversion opportunities, run approved experiments, measure results, maintain security, prevent abuse, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us host, secure, operate, analyze, and support Demi. These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us. We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide Demi, meet legal and security obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and preserve audit history for experiments and account activity. You can ask us to delete or export personal information, subject to legal and security limits.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and secure infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect Demi and customer data appropriately.

Your choices

You can contact us to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails. Transactional service emails may still be sent when necessary to operate Demi.
